दफ़्तरों में ढली हुई कुर्सियाँ या कैस्टर वाली कुर्सियाँ न हों; विकलांगजनों की बैठकों में कालीन वाले फर्श न हो; फर्श की सतह के विभिन्न स्तरों को दर्शाने के लिए रंग परिवर्तन; विकलांगजनों के लिए होटल के कमरों में नीची खाटें और सख्त गद्दे हों; अलग-अलग ऊँचाई पर सार्वजनिक मूत्रालय हों; सभागारों, थिएटरों और अन्य सभी सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर सुलभ बैठने की व्यवस्था हो।\n \nजब उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने स्थानीय कारीगरों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए 2018 में अपनी एक ज़िला एक उत्पाद (ओडीओपी) योजना शुरू की, तो सुनील ने विकलांगजनों को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने में इसकी क्षमता देखी। उन्होंने विकलांगजनों के लिए प्रत्येक स्थान पर उपलब्ध व्यवसाय और रोजगार के अवसरों का अध्ययन करने के लिए पूरे उत्तर प्रदेश की यात्रा की और निष्कर्ष निकाला कि ओडीओपी योजना उनके लिए लाभकारी हो सकती है। जून 2022 में वह और उनके सात दोस्त जो विकलांग थे एक अभियान जिसका शीर्षक था \"चलो जीते हम\" उसके लिए कानपुर से लखनऊ होते हुए लेह-लद्दाख गए और वापस आए। वे जहाँ भी रुके, उन्होंने विकलांगजनों और विकलांगता संगठनों से विकलांगजनों के अधिकारों, सुलभ वातावरण, ओडीओपी योजना और खेलों के माध्यम से आत्मविश्वास बढ़ाने के बारे में बात की। 15 दिनों में उन्होंने 4,400 किलोमीटर की यात्रा की और छह राज्यों और दो केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के 40 गैर-सरकारी संगठनों से मुलाकात की।\n \nविकलांगजन सशक्तिकरण के लिए 2020 में उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार का राज्य पुरस्कार जीतने वाले और चुनाव जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए कानपुर के विकलांगजन आइकॉन सुनील ने पेशेवर और सामाजिक कार्यों के लिए 22 देशों की यात्रा की है और 3.5 लाख किलोमीटर की यात्रा की है! इसके बाद वे गोवा में आयोजित होने वाले अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पर्पल फेस्ट के लिए जाने की योजना बना रहे हैं। यह एक ऐतिहासिक वार्षिक आयोजन है जो समावेशिता और सुगम्यता को बढ़ावा देता है। यह आयोजन इस वर्ष 9 से 12 अक्टूबर तक आयोजित किया जाएगा।\n\n","State_name":"उत्तर प्रदेश","Display_Order":225}}},
