He was passionate about sports before the accident and he continued to be so after it, getting a prosthetic leg fitted and diving into para sports.\n\nAmresh, who did Bachelors in Physical Education from CSJM University and was a gold medallist topper, became a PE coach for schools across Kanpur. After the accident he played wheelchair TT and won silver at the national para games. He was chosen as part of the team representing India at the 2019 Para TT Championship in Amman, Jordan. Meanwhile he took up shooting, in which he excelled. In January and February 2019 he took part in air rifle and air pistol shooting competitions, winning six gold medals, a silver and a bronze.\n\nBesides working as a school teacher he has been vigorously encouraging disabled persons – the first being his younger brother Abhishek, a polio survivor – to take up sports as a career; he coaches them in shooting and TT and is proud to see them perform excellently. He is also coaching his daughters Aradhya (11) and Aditri (7). Aradhya has already started winning medals in shooting; Aditri is being coached in TT and will take up shooting once she reaches the qualifying age of 10. “My life is incomplete without my wife Manjula, who takes care of everything” says Amresh. उसके पिता का “लक्ष्य  उसे ओलंपिक चैंपियन बनाना है”। अदित्री को टी.टी.  में कोचिंग दी जा रही है और क्वालिफाइंग उम्र, 10 साल तक पहुँचने के बाद वो शूटिंग में चली जाएगी। अमरेश कहते हैं, “मेरी ज़िंदगी मेरी पत्नी मंजुला के बिना अधूरी है, जो सब कुछ संभालती है”। वो एक टीचर हैं और वे “50-50 पार्टनर” हैं।\n \nअमरेश कहते हैं, “अब जब मैं टी.टी.  और शूटिंग दोनों में अच्छा हूँ, तो मुझे यह तय करना है कि मैं किसमें बेहतर हूँ, ताकि मैं देश का प्रतिनिधित्व कर सकूँ और ओलंपिक स्वर्ण जीत सकूँ।.”\n","State_name":"उत्तर प्रदेश","Display_Order":231}}},
